In the face of rampant consumerism, we decided to combat the crazies by ignoring them completely. We slept late, ate leftovers and watched a Deadly Women Marathon. I did venture to the grocer to get beer and cheetos, and put an XBox 360 on hold a used console at a locally owned game store. I will purchase it tomorrow to keep my money local.
If you are one of the people who went out I sincerely hope that the gaping hole in your rather needy existence was filled by the $199 TV at Best Buy. If like us you were lazy to the point of sloth, good on ya!
